God doesn’t want us to cope. He wants us to lead. Start here.
We are using substitutes as crutches for what we’ve lost: a baseline expectation of healthy masculinity. We no longer have mentors to model it for us from boyhood. We no longer have a culture that calls us to it. Absent encouragement—with our nature even demonized—we seek dopamine hits to cope with the stress of life and downward spirals of guilt and shame.
This is where Fathers for Fathers is gathering men together to begin renewing themselves and each other. This is no ‘calling out’. This is a calling-up.
Fathers For Fathers
Episode 17 - "Balancing Full-Time Ministry with Family" with Special Guest, John Rinehart
John met Jesus when he was 7 years old, met his wife at 17, and started working in business at 23.
Early on he was succeeding in business, but deep down he wanted more. John knew life was about more than making money. More than climbing the ladder. More than the American Dream.
John believed God put him on planet earth for a reason. But he didn’t have vision.
Businesspeople seemed like second-class Christians, so John resigned and went looking for purpose. He spent four years in seminary earning a Masters of Divinity degree. Afterward, he chased his wife's dream to become a global Christian and learn to walk by faith.
They left everything and traveled the world… 5 continents, 22 countries, and 132 days around the world.
It was on this adventure that he first heard about Gospel Patrons from a friend of a friend. Little did he know that it would become a book he would write and a movement God would birth.
Since then he has been invited to speak to thousands of people around the world. https://www.johnrinehart.com
