Frequently Asked
Questions
Sadly, Fathers for Fathers is a counter-culture movement. It shouldn’t be. We speak from the heart – and from personal experience – about healing family bonds, masculine virtue, emotional well-being, and thriving communities.
Men are overwhelmed and need very real, practical help. We are ready to offer it, and to speak out against the spiral of stress and demoralization engulfing so many fathers and families. In doing so, we step into a contentious public discourse – including debates on traditionalism, inclusiveness, equality, free speech, sex differences, and the welfare of children. We do so with deep appreciation for women and children, and with deep affinity for the potential and healing of men.

Are you a ‘men’s rights’ movement?
Today’s culture demonizes, discounts, and isolates men. This movement isn’t just ‘pro-men’, but pro-father to bring out the best in all of us.
Are you against feminism?
Are you saying families should be hetero-normative? Are single parents bad? Are gay parents bad?
Are you pro-traditional gender roles? Are you anti-LGBTQ?
What is biblical manhood? What is a ‘good’ or ‘strong’ father?
Biblical manhood is using our strength in the service of our families and children, our communities, and each other. It calls us to self-accountability, humility, and industriousness.
You say men need support. Why?
It seems regressive to suggest gender matters. Aren’t women and men interchangeable?
Is this a Christian movement for Christians?
